Sigh... Guess the hardest part about parenting apart from discipline is really nursing you back to health. Whenever we see you sick.. we're really helpless and wished that we're the ones down with virus instead.

Yesterday, Yen had a stomach flu attack. Everything that you eat was throw up... even water was not spared. The funny thing is that, you seldom like water .. but with this stomach flu.. doctor specify that you cannot have more than 60ml of water. ... so throughout the day, u suddenly like water so much.. you are practically begging mummy n daddy for water.. and we've no choice and need to ratio it so that we can last 60ml of water for the whole hour.

Sigh.. your constant whinning really drive mummy to mad .. and I nearly lost my temper.. but after that I feel so ashamed of myself.. u're sick and unwell and yet mummy cannot give u the tender loving care.. sorry son.

Sigh.. parenthood is so tough

- This photo was taken donkey years ago by Uncle Samuel and it was Ethan's bday...

Since Daddy is off to Japan for the whole week... Yen seemed to miss Daddy a lot.. Yesterday, the moment when I reached Popo's house... You actually jumped onto me .. with your legs tightly wrapped ard Mummy's waist.. You gave mummy a rather pensive/serious look.. and asked: Where is my daddy?"

Mummy had to explain to u that Daddy is in JP and far away place... poor kid .. nobdy to play with him .. he looked a bit lonely because Sammi went off home early yesterday.

Sleeping...
Mummy wanted to note this down because you have a funny way of sleeping. These days, you like Mummy to wrap my arms around you and sleep. Whenever you noticed that Mummy is moving away, you will wrap your arms around Mummy's neck and tighten the grip whenever you sense that I'm moving away...
So sweet of you :)

Gerald...
This morning, I tried to put him on his tummy to do some tiny pushup.. you managed to lift your head and turn from side to side (Well done ..son !!).You actually smile quite a bit at your Sammi cousin and yr GorGor... :) Mummy is glad that u're such a happy bb.

- showing gor-gor and di-di photo..
Hmmm.. after comparison, I feel that Gerald seemed to have a more gentle character.. he is more observant type... he will look intently at you when you're carrying him .. and his gaze will not move away for a long long time.. he observe you. Sometimes, when Mummy wear specs and sometimes I wear contact lens.. So I guess it really confuse him sometimes that this person is who ?
But without fail, whenever he sees his daddy.. he will give him the sweetest smile on earth .. must be daddy's teeth is really white :)

- smiling at daddy again...

Compared to Yen...
During my maternity leave, Mummy actually played the show spiderman1 at PoPo house. In the show itself, it had a bad guy in green mask.. I guess after you watched the show, you actually develop a fear against him. So Mummy actually used this bad guy to scare you .. so when you insist to go to the fridge to get the sweets during your dinner time and whenever you refuse to eat your porridge.. Mummy used this bad-guy tactic to threaten you to eat.. Mummy will say
Mummy: Bad guy coming .. mummy scared scared...

You n Sammi hear it and rushed out of the kitchen immediately. I know it is bad but Mummy got no choice but to scare u sometimes :P

Some updates on Gerald...
- You become more responsive .. when you see Mummy you tends to make more noise .. hmmm maybe I should tape a few videos of your cooing sounds :)
- Guess you are a bit on the overweight side.. so this morning when Mummy try to turn you on your side hoping that u will lift up yr head .. er.. it was a disaster.. you simply buried your head in the mattress .. ha ha ..
- Well, I guess we need more exercise time for u dear.

Loving you sons,
Mummy

Simply refused to accept the fact that we've leave you behind at Popo's house.

Even when Popo bring out your favourite such as ice-cream and biscuits..you simply refused to eat and cried for mummy and daddy.

When daddy n mummy reached home, you looked at us and ran towards us, want us to hug you real hard. When hugging is done, you ran into the house and bring out your brown pants (that pants that you've wore previously to library) and insisted that you wear and go out together.

But it was still raining heavily so mummy promised you that we will go out tonite after dinner.. but guess you're afraid that we slipped out again. We take our time to go to the NTUC and finally make our way to the clinic .. hoping to see doctor on your fever... all is way and u're alert and active.

You were happily peddaling with the bicycle at the clinic.. suddenly when mummy returned from the toilet.. Daddy suddenly said "Look"...Before I knew it.. you are experiencing fits...

You had your eyes rolled backwards and your whole body was lifeless and soft... saliva was spilling our from your black lips..
